This is a unique opportunity for an Maintenance Controller / Planner to join a fantastic team and work with a business who's brand is recognised the world over for quality of service it provides.
This role is Mon - Fri 9-5, no weekends!
As an experianced material controller / planner you will be in your element planning and ordering all materials required for a range of Aircraft maintenece inputs while also having the flexability to cater to unscheduled demands such as AOG's.
It is essential that you have proven experience in procurement and inventory management combined with strong analytical and problem solving skills while being cost focused, with the ability to manage spend within budget.
Lets look at the role in a little more depth
Set up and ownership of all material master data, including any Initial Provisioning, Tooling and Equipment, Minimum safety stocks, re-order levels and interchangeability where approved data exists.
Effective use of our clients MRO system to effectively manage material within the system and improve material availability in the most cost effective manner.
Carry out component repair administration.
Project manage fleet acquisitions and handback material requirements.
Support Engineering Technical Services for all material requests and planning.
Administration and support all maintenance inputs.
Ensuring compliance with Engineering Policy, Procurement Policy, Statutory Airworthiness requirements, Safety Standards, Company Standing Instructions and Health and Safety Legislation.
Seeking cost saving initiatives within the Engineering supply chain.
Manage the supplier relationship from initial sourcing to maximisation of effective use of contracts.
Manage the Customer relationship within Inventory Management through setting and monitoring of Service Level agreements (SLA’s) with suppliers.
Ad hoc project work as required within scope of the role.
Expedite outstanding critical orders to meet essential deadlines.
Have an understanding and implementation of material imports and exports requirements.
Planning and sourcing materials for line station requirements, all maintenance checks and acceptable deferred defects (ADD’s)
Support MRO base maintenance inputs for all material requirements and preloads.
Drive supply chain performance.
Continuous approved supplier auditing.
Supervise and instruct logistic performance, including freight options.
