CAS Recruitment are proud to be recruiting a number of Maintrol Engineers on behalf of one of our prestigious UK based clients. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced B1 or B2 LAE to join a fantastic team and work with a business who's brand is recognised the world over for quality of service it provides. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our client can continue to delight customers and deliver the high product standard they have come to expect.
Maintrol is a very challenging but rewarding position vital to any airlines operations, it requires the ability to see the bigger picture, multitask, trouble shoot while coordinating with numerous departments. Nothing beats the feeling of solving that defect, helping that line / base engineer rectify a defect or getting that AOG back into the air. One things for sure no two days will be the same.
Shift Patten is 5s ‘n’ 4s over a 28 day period.
Lets have a look at the responsibilities in more detail;
To maintain a close pro-active liaison with Line Stations, Part M, Sub-Contracted Part M, Third Party Maintenance Service Providers and our clients Flight Technical to ensure a safe and reliable operation.
To ensure that all Scheduled and Unscheduled Line Maintenance tasks are managed and controlled by using established systems to monitor aircraft hours cycles and due dates to ensure continued regulatory compliance.
To manage and control aircraft Acceptable Deferred Defects (ADD’s) to ensure compliance, initiate rectification and arrange support (spares, tooling, documentation) in order that ADD’s are rectified in a timely manner to ensure continued fleet reliability and availability.
To effectively and efficiently co-ordinate and support Engineering Staff when engaged on the maintenance and recovery of Line aircraft on or away from base with regard to transport, hotac, equipment, technical issues, duty hours etc.
To effectively handle enquiries from: Flight Crews with technical or operational difficulties or questions both in flight and on the ground away from base; and, from Engineers with technical issues or queries.
To co-ordinate efficiently the flow of information resulting from aircraft incidents and provide guidance and support for the recovery of aircraft post such incidents.
To maintain an accurate and detailed maintenance control log, statistical operating report and fleet status reports.
To ensure all systems are updated daily for system maintenance planning
Allocation of aircraft in order to meet the requirements of the Company’s commercial schedule and in line with the Operational and Fleet Engineering Plans.
Provide ad-hoc cover for Fleet Performance Engineer role where necessary (Fleet health monitoring and preventative maintenance instigation).
Initiate and implement delay and disruption management procedures in line with Company guidelines.
