Position: Avionic Systems Engineer

You contribution towards the success of this project will be vital and as an Avionics System Engineer you will report directly to the director of Avionic Engineering.
The role will be highly focused around the continued development of subsystems and components while ensuring their compliance to relevant safety standards. The specific systems you will be responsible for range from pilot interfaces and display systems, auxiliary systems, telemetry, RC and ground control systems.
You must be highly motivated and passionate about engineering within aviation and thrive upon challenges.
You will hold at the minimum a M.Sc in Engineering or physics and will ideally hold CEng status.
You will have a minimum of 5 years hands on professional experience in the design / development of avionic systems.
Yo will have experience of defining requirements for components and subsystems.
You will have actual hands on experience with software development and architecture.
You will have experience of working with regulatory bodies such as EASA & the FAA.
You will be experienced in coordinating flight tests while ensuring vital test data is captured.
You must have experience of hardware and software development to the following standards;
- ARP4754 (Experience would be highly desirable)
You must have excellent command of both verbal and written English, fluency in an additional language would be highly beneficial.
