Position: Operations Controller with Crew Control Experience

You must have minimum of 1 year experiance as a crew controller along with a minimum of 3 years as an operations controller.

Core Skills and competencies:
Experience in a Crew Control Environment that is fully conversant with EASA FTL with the ability to think on your feet essential
Experience in an Operations Control/ Flight dispatch / Flight Planning environment is essential
Experience with PPS flight planning and operations flight monitoring systems highly desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good working knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft office proficiency
Excellent organisational skills
High degree of flexibility
High degree of operational awareness
Provision of optimised flight planning, ensuring the most cost-effective routing, taking into consideration departure and arrival punctuality.
Ensure that all information provided to flight crew is the latest up-to-date information (Flight Plans, Crew Brief/Weather/NOTAMs),
Manage day of operation ATC slot requirements to minimise delay to the schedule (Both Airline & Wet Lease operations).
Liaise with Air Traffic Service Providers including CFMU.
Deal with all crew queries as required.
Maintain flight watch on all aircraft under control of Dublin OCC including all flights operated by other carriers and to furnish the flight Commander (with ways and means available) with any information necessary for the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.
Ensure the completion of the daily flight schedule and limit disruption to passengers.
In the event of an Emergency, to contact the OED to take such other action as may be necessary under the Company Emergency Response plan.
To allocate aircraft to specific flights in accordance with any commercial or maintenance requirements pertaining at the time.
Provide Real-time operational alerts, status updates, information to Management and wet lease customers, staff and out-stations as required throughout the day.
To carry out instructions from the GMFO, Head of Ops Control and OCC Duty Managers.
Travel to other Bases on the Network as required.
Shift based roster patterns (which can vary).
Complete all regulatory course work to standard.
Acceptance of and compliance with the Operations, Supervision, and Control procedures (OSCP) manual and any updates to it by means of OCIs, Work Instructions or Memorandum.
Expertise and proficiency in Crew Control functions and Flight Time Limitations.
Deputise for the OCC Duty Manager as required.
