CAS Recruitment are proud to be recruiting a Defect Control Engineer on behalf of one of our leading European customers. This is a unique and interesting position that would be ideal for a EASA part 66, CAT A or B Licensed engineer that has extensive experiance with the B737NG and would like to progress there career, transitioning from line or base maintenance into Technical Services.

This will be a challenging yet rewarding role that will require you to assist & liaise with Maintenance Controllers, LAE's, Maintenance Planners and Operations Controllers to troubleshoot defects and effectively return the aircraft to service. You will monitor our customers fleet of acceptable deferred defects and coordinate with departments toensure that the necessary manpower and work orders for defect rectification are raised and expedited.

This new role will play a pivotal part in increasing our customers on time performance. It will require a motivated, flexible, proactive and professional individual that has excellent troubleshooting ability while providing hands on support if required along with the analytical ability to see the bigger picture.

Occasional travel maybe required for this role and you would be expected to deputise for the Maintenance Manager in his absence.

  • EASA Part 66 CAT A or B Licence
  • Certified on line, base or both for a minimum period of 5 years
  • Significant experiance of the B373NG
  • Excellent trouble shooting ability
